Welcome to Tea with Trina – a sanctuary where passion for tea blossoms into a shared experience. I’m Trina, the founder, and your guide on this flavorful journey.
From a young age, tea held a mystique that captivated me. My early memories are filled with the serene moments I spent immersed in books about tea, dreaming of the day I would open my own tea shop. However, life took its course, and I found myself navigating the corporate world as an internal auditor for over two decades. Despite success, the instability of layoffs left me yearning for something more fulfilling.
The vision for my own tea business remained vivid in my heart, and the desire to create a life independent of corporate whims grew stronger. Thus, with a blend of hope and determination, Tea with Trina was born.
Steeped in Knowledge
To ground my passion with expertise, I embarked on a formal journey into the world of tea by becoming an accredited Tea Sommelier through the Tea & Herbal Association of Canada. This not only deepened my appreciation and knowledge of tea but also equipped me to curate a selection that promises an authentic experience.
I attended the World Tea Expo in Las Vegas, diving deeper into the tea industry’s vast landscape. It was an enriching experience that expanded my network and solidified my commitment to exploring this aromatic world. Each cup of tea I offer is a reflection of a meticulous tasting process and an understanding of what enthusiasts cherish.
